To create a vinyl cover & inner for Colorplans new vinyl, Portal. To be inspired by the condition behind the driving force of the vinyl; Synesthesia. Include Colorplan colours, copy & fonts.
Inspired by the interchangeable qualities of the music on the vinyl with them being in the same key and time signatures, wanted to explore how this could be experimented with. Focusing on the music and how it could be stacked I represented this in my design, by stacking the colours of the Colorplan. The syncopation of the music is represented by the justification of the type on the cover. The eye represents the Synesthesia that the music is based upon.
